American Animal Hospital Association
Veterinary hospitals are evaluated on approximately 900 standards of veterinary excellence in order to become accredited. AAHA-accredited hospitals are recognized among the finest in the industry, and are constantly at the forefront of advanced veterinary medicine. Only 15% of veterinary hospitals in the United States are AAHA-accredited. Our Standards of Accreditation are continuously reviewed and updated to keep our accredited practice on the cutting edge of veterinary excellence. To maintain accredited status, hospitals undergo comprehensive on-site evaluations every three years.
American Association of Feline Practitioners Certified Cat Friendly Practice
A Cat Friendly Practice creates a safe, low-stress atmosphere for feline patients, while providing the highest quality standard of care. Our veterinary team has advanced training to provide our feline patients with the special and specific care they require. As they say, cats are not small dogs! The Cat Friendly Practice (CFP) program provides a solution to the trend and an opportunity for veterinary practices to elevate care for cats and reduce the stress during the visit.
Level II Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Facility
We are pleased to announce our hospital is a Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS) certified level II facility. This special certification process recognizes those hospitals that meet and exceed the quality standards and guidelines established by VECCS. A level II emergency and critical care facility is a 24 hour acute care facility with the medical staff, personnel and training necessary to provide emergent and critical patient care. We are one of one of only three hospitals in Colorado with a level II facility.
